Bang Bang Whiskey Wings

The perfect recipe for game day! Grab some wings and get to work!


For the marinade you will need:

  • 1/4 cup @goldbarwhiskey

  • 1/4 cup vinegar

  • 3 tbsp hot sauce

  • 10-12 cloves crushed garlic

  • 2 tbsp salt n pepper

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

For the sauce you will need:

  • 1/3 stick butter

  • A gang of crushed garlic

  • 1/4 cup whiskey (I recommend Goldbar)

  • About 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (I recommend W Sauce)

  • 2 tbsp hot sauce of your choice (use more if you want it spicy)

  • 1/4 cup chicken stock

  • 3 tbsp cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water)

TO MAKE:

  1. Combine ingredients for marinade. Marinade your wings for a minimum of 2 hours. No more than 6 in my opinion.

  2. Grill wings indirect at 350 degrees for 30 mins. Flip and cook until done (15-25 mins more).

  3. While wings are finishing, combine butter, garlic, whiskey, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, chicken stock and cornstarch. Simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened and reduced.

  4. Pour sauce over finished wings and enjoy!

*NOTES: Wings can be air-fried, baked or smoked. Cook them how you like them. This sauce is a banger no matter what!
