Shrimp n grits... if you don't love em, it's because you haven't had them made properly. With a little bit of seasoning and a whole lot of love, I guarantee you'll love this recipe!
4 cups water or chicken stock
1 cup grits
8 cloves chopped garlic
1/2 cup cheese
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup cream
as many shrimps as you got
California Cajun rub (Salt, pepper, garlic and cayenne works fine too)
3 tbsp W Sauce
1/3 stick butter
Bring water or chicken stock to a boil. Add in garlic and then whisk in grits.
Lower hit and stir, whisk frequently for 40-50 mins.
Remove from heat and whisk in cream, butter and cheese. Add salt if needed.
Season shrimp. Cook about 2 mins per side.
Add in butter, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Toss to coat.
Serve over grits.
