Garlic Shrimp

This recipe will transport your taste buds to paradise! Simple, easy, and oh so delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp

  • 2 cups flour

  • All the garlic you have, minced/chopped (at least a full head)

  • 3 green onions, sliced (whites and green parts separated)

  • 1.5 sticks butter

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • 2 tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

TO MAKE:

  1. Season flour with salt and pepper to taste, along with rub of your choice. Coat shell on shrimp evenly in flour mixture and set aside.

  2. Heat skillet to medium and coat with olive oil. Sear the shrimp about 2-3 mins per side depending on size. Remove from skillet just short of being cooked through.

  3. Add butter to skillet and melt. Add garlic and white parts of the green onion to butter, lowering heat of needed making sure not to burn. Sauté 2-3 mins until your kitchen smells like heaven.

  4. Add cooked shrimp back into to skillet and toss to combine with butter mixture. Finish with 2 tbsp fish sauce and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Toss more and serve over white rice. Garnish w green portions of onion if desired. Enjoy!
